Day 29 Villa Martín Grande to Mondoñedo +-18km’s
I left at 8am, the latest I’ve left on this Camino to date. I had decided it was time for a rest day and I was meeting Sandra as it’s her Birthday today.
I slept extremely well as the beds in Tentempé Perogrino were lovely and hard. Just what I needed for my back.
I realised just how high I climbed when I set off down the mountain on the route this morning.
I walked with Timo this morning, he is from Germany walking Day 104. He started out Munich. Huge respect for him.
I was rather pleased to get Pilgrim stamps from a church and Cathedral today.
I enjoyed a lovely supper with Sandra opposite the cathedral after a lovely tour.
The route took me through Gondán, San Xusto, Lourenzá, Arroxa and finally settling in Albergue Montero Mondoñedo for the night.
That’s my very short story for the day.
