Day 15 Cóbreces to San Vicente de Barquera +-24km’s
For the first time on this Camino I managed to sleep through. It helped staying in a lovely Albergue. We set off with Marieke and Anabel from Germany. The town of Cóbreces has the most beautiful views of farmlands and the ocean.
We walked along the ocean path to La Iglesia (Ruiloba). I really love the early morning walking along the coast. We walked into Comillas a beautiful town with Gaudi architecture. I will visit again as a tourist.
The temperatures soared somewhat and walking on the hard surfaces take there toll on the feet. We eventually arrived in San Vicente de Barquera just before 3pm.
The Camino Del Norte has the most beautiful views but make sure you can handle hard surfaces as there is a lot of road walking.
